Steve Sax Meets With Sellers

Posted by Debbie Sax on Wednesday, November 6th, 2019 at 9:08am.

I arranged a surprise meeting for Jack and Kathy to meet Steve Sax for a casual coffee at Starbucks after we closed escrow on their home. For Jack, it was as if Christmas came early to see his reaction when Steve came walking towards him. When I listed their home in Granite Bay I noticed that they had one room dedicated to sports and most notable, Dodger memorabilia. Jack attended the 1988 World Series game where Kirt Gibson his is infamous home run and Steve Sax was in the on-deck circle and was the next at bat.

Jack was thrilled and had a rare opportunity to talk baseball with a Dodger legend. When I took their listing I hit the ground running to get their home staged, professionally photographed, advertised & listed on the MLS and on the Web. After only one weekend, we had multiple offers, their home was in escrow, and we negotiated towards a successful closing. Jack and Kathy had upgraded their home over the years and kept it in tip top shape, however once the buyer starts their inspections, there can often still be going to be findings, even when it is brand new construction. There are many factors that go into listing or purchasing a home and with my years of experience, coupled with being with a world-class brokerage, gives my clients leverage in this ever-changing industry.

If you have a Granite Bay home to sell and are interested in premier service like Jack and Kathy received, call or text me at 916-947-4729.
