Places To Go and Fireworks Celebrations To See

There's no more patriotic way to celebrate our Nation's Independence than taking in a spectacular fireworks show in the Sacramento Region this 4th of July.  With many counties offering fireworks displays on the days leading up to the 4th as well as on the Fourth of July, you can plan ahead for an extended celebration.

There are many opportunities to see fireworks in Sacramento County including a favorite, and long-standing, tradition full of patriotism, the Folsom Pro Rodeo. In El Dorado County you can start early, on July 3rd, by attending another family-friendly event to be held at the El Dorado Town Center, known as the Fireworks and Freedom Concert. While there, see what makes this area a gathering spot for local entertainment, restaurants and shopping, which is easily accessible from Highway 50.  Rounding out the top places to enjoy the holiday, Placer County hosts and annual tradition @the Grounds in Roseville where they are hosting  a 9:00 am parade and evening fireworks. With so many opportunities to enjoy our beautiful surroundings with friends and family while honoring our Nation's history, a good time is sure to be had by young and old alike.
