So, how's the real estate market in Sacramento? In a word it's good, particularly if you're selling your Sacramento home. For Sacramento home buyers, it's unfortunately been pretty much more of the same - low inventory and relatively high prices. Here are some recent observations:

If you're buying, you'll need to be aware of how cometitive the market is and have all your ducks in a row, so to speak, i.e. your finances, your loan, etc., and be prepared to be in a multiple-offer situation.

If you're selling, there are a lot of things for you to do as well. Today's home buyers seem to be willing to accept some things that need to be done, but to garner the most interest from the broadest spectrum of potential buyers it's advantageous to position your home as pretty much move-in-ready.
